Ben Dinkins is the founder of the Jacksonville-based, Ben Dinkins Landscape Design ("BDL Design"),recognized for excellence in the design and implementation of public and private sector projects. Ben has experience working with Northeast Florida's landscape for over 25 years. As a Landscape Designer and in his practice, Ben strives to make vibrant ecosystems omnipresent in living spaces via subtle implementation gathering influence from the rich architectural history and natural environment of the state of Florida.
At BDL Design, Abbe's role includes taking the project from the proposal process until the last plant has been placed in the ground. Abbe coordinates with the client, contractors, and any other involved parties to ensure that the project is done according to plan.
Prior to BDL Design, Abbe studied Environmental Design at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Abbe draws inspiration from her roots in Atlantic Beach, FL and her oceanic inspiration is visible in her works. In her free time Abbe enjoys surfing, exploring and furniture design.
Jaigl Gonzalez Rodriguez
As Lead Designer, Jaigl is critical in interpreting the vision of Ben Dinkins Landscape Designs. Jaigl graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico,School of Architecture, with a Bachelor’s of Architecture, and a minor in Structural Systems. He was awarded the Luis Porrata Doria Excellence Design Award in 2021 for his inspirational design.
Since Jaigl has joined the Ben Dinkins Landscape Design family, he has influenced every project. Jaigl is a master artist in 3D & technical drawing, which is the foundation for transforming the client’s dreams into reality.
Lauren is an associate for Ben Dinkins Landscape Design. She has a passion for site planning and landscape architecture. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University. She worked as a planner and urban designer for an international firm in Washington DC, which focused on large scale urban planning projects. In 2019, after several years of teaching, Lauren returned to her passion in the design field, and joined Ben Dinkins Landscape Design.
